However, by keeping a few key considerations in mind you can narrow down viable options for customers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is the exterior color of the house?<\/li>\n<li>Does your customer prefer subtle or bold palettes?<\/li>\n<li>Does your customer like contrasting or complementary colors?<\/li>\n<li>What architectural style (colonial, contemporary, Victorian, Mediterranean, etc.) does the home have?<\/li>\n<li>Is the home located in the city, suburbs, or country?<\/li>\n<li>Are the environmental surroundings vibrant or subdued?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples of popular choices for several common situations include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Modern city homes<\/strong><br \/>\nStark colors are often chosen to complement minimalist design.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beach homes<\/strong><br \/>\nFaded, subtle colors like cool gray and light tan present well in muted surroundings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lancaster County country homes<\/strong><br \/>\nSaturated (deeper) colors often look best because the rich colors in the environment don\u2019t drown them out.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, customers have the final say.
